Today I photographed this beautiful Momma. She is having a little boy and she already has two beautiful girls. Lina is so beautiful and perfectly pregnant. She looks amazing! We shot in her home and I think captured her style perfectly! I love going into clients homes having no idea what to expect and seeing it all come together. I am starting to LOVE maternity shoots and I hope to do lots more in the near future!

Tiffany and Derek are my last wedding here in Virginia before we move to Clarksville, Tennessee. This wedding got to me a bit more than normal. It is normal for me to get a little teary eyed for my couples because I get to know them so well but this one made me cry. Tiffany has 4 year old twin boys and Derek has a 6 year old daughter. Seeing this family get married was amazing. I just love this little family! And the best part is that I get to do a family session with them later this month, so you will get to see more of them. Ok, so back to the wedding. They got married at First Baptist Church in Vienna and then the reception was at The Hyatt Regency at Reston Town Center here in Virginia. The lovely Beth Kubovcik second shot with me and she was amazing! So here are my favorites from the day. Happy Friday everyone!

Angela and Richard were married in Houston a few weeks ago. I had never met them before which is not typical for me but I instantly loved these two! They were so fun, happy and easy going. It was good to be back in Houston and have Lisa shoot with me. The wedding was at the new Hotel Sorella and the Red Oak Ballroom in the new and super cool City Centre Town and Country. I haven't been there since it was all built up. I was super impressed! The hotel was modern and really fun to shoot in. Here are some of my favorites from the day. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

If you have been reading the blog you already know I am moving to Clarksville, Tennessee next month! Clarksville is about 40 min northwest of Nashville and that whole area has been hit with some terrible flooding. We close on our house later this month and being in Virginia we can't just go check on it. We had asked our Realtor to go check and she couldn't even get to our house because the roads to our neighborhood and the surrounding area including her office is full of water. Last night a friend of mine here in Virginia that use to live in Clarksville asked me how our house was and where we it was. She told me a friend of a friend had some pictures they had taken up on Facebook. So I decided to look and when I came across this one I was so super excited to see our house and to see it was high and dry! Isn't that amazing?! Josh and I are very thankful and yet still sad for the rest of the area. Well I just wanted to give a little update on our house, our move and the flood. By the way if anyone knows anyone in Clarksville or Nashville let them know I am offering discounts on sessions and weddings for the next few months until I get moved in and business get back up. THANKS!!!

Meet Tiffany and Derek. They are getting married next month here in Virginia. They met in high school, went on their own way and life has now brought them back to each other and they are getting married. I am excited for their wedding and to meet their whole family. I am totally loving Spring right now!
