aren’t they adorable? i heart brooke and travis!

saturday we went around houston to do their engagement pictures. we had so much fun. they were so easy and fun to shoot. we went to the new discovery green park downtown that opened last week. it is so cool, i can’t wait to take my kids there. anyhow brooke and travis are both teachers in houston and they are getting married next june.

If anyone is wondering this is a perfect example of what to wear on an engagement shoot. i love the colors and wearing an outfit that flatters you is key. there is nothing worse than being uncomfortable during a shoot when you are supposed to feel amazing. be yourself. (oh ya by the way i think all dresses should have pockets! =)!!)

look who we ran into. brooke and i turned around and about 10 feet in front of us were george and barbara! we looked pretty funny trying to convey what we saw to each other!!! they were touring the new park on their golf carts. they were so nice, we met them and they even let us take a few pictures with them. that was so fun!

so this morning as i was about to get will ready for school i found him playing in the bathroom. he “pretend” (with out a real blade obviously) shaves everyday with josh now and this morning josh had to leave early.  so will decided he was a big boy and could do it all by himself. and of course it was too cute and i had to take some pictures. today at his school is crazy hair day so i tried my best to give him a mohawk. didn’t really work but it is still cute!  this is my mischievous little will, he is so darn cute!

so lisa (my 2nd shooter/my sister/my assistant/my everything) shot her very first wedding with out me. she did an amazing job, i am so blessed to have her and i am so so so very proud of her!!! sarah is one of lisa’s closest friends, so that was a good place to start. she and harry were married at spring chateau on 3.16. here are a few of my favorites.  **happy birthday sarah!!**

allison and nick were married in clear lake at clear lake united methodist and then had their reception at south shore harbor resort. allison and nick are so fun! lisa and i were laughing all night. their friends and family were so welcoming and fun to be with. the church was beautiful, i just loved all of the stain glass. the south shore harbor resort was amazing too. before the reception we went out on the docks for some pictures. the weather was perfect! lisa and i loved every minute of this wedding!

here are a few of allison bridals…so fun!!!!

last weekend I had the opportunity to shoot two very fun things. cheryl at shine in the heights asked me to shoot the girls at the salon. that was so fun. here are my favorite pictures. if you need a salon be sure to check them out. cheryl also has her own t-shirt line she sells them in the boutique part of the salon. these ladies rock!! go see for yourself!

here is holley. she is sweet couture. she designs and creates amazing candy buffets for wedding receptions. she is opening a storefront next month on west gray and we will be doing another shoot then. so look back for that! I also had holley make me these super cute lolly’s for me. i will post a pic of that soon. she does custom lolly’s, so brides if you are thinking candy, think about sweet couture!

saturday morning i met amber and paul in houston. they are getting married in the Caymans this june and unfortunately i will be getting back from Canada a few days prior and can’t go. BUT at least we were able to take all of these fun pictures! amber and paul are so sweet and it was so funny to watch them make each other laugh. i am so glad i had this chance to meet them!
