On Vacation!

Tomorrow I am off to TEXAS for 3 weeks! I have Brooke and Travis’s Wedding in Houston then I am off to Marfa, TX for a photographer girls vacation. I will fly back to DC for Mary and Chris’s Wedding on the 3rd of July then back to TX for Jamie and Sinclair’s engagement session and another week of vacation with my family and we are even going to take some family pictures! Crazy fun! If you need to reach me email me. I will be able to check it fairly often but I am going to try and take a real vacation as well. I am 100% caught up on editing so I am going to very much enjoy this time off! YAY for vacations! Have a great few weeks everyone!

July 23, 2009 - 4:14 pm Marion Madigan - As the mother of Mary (who married Chris on July 3 in Washington, DC) let me just say how grateful we are that Laura travelled all the way back east to photograph the wedding. Laura, we all loved having you be part of such a magnificant day! I enjoyed reading about your trip to TX in the car. Did Mary tell you that every summer of the 15 years we spent in Houston I would load up the Suburban with 4 kids and a Golden Retriever and drive (without Dad) to DC? The memories of those trips are priceless, from poop in the carseats to flat tires and dropped transmissions to "Sing-Along" tapes and made-up ghost stories (this was well before the days of DVD players in cars, much less cell phones) and all well worth it to visit Grandma! Can't wait to see all the wedding photos and thanks for being both fun and professional, Marion
