Ina, Cyrus and I had sch a good time at Old Town Occoquan. I love this little town! It is quite and has tons of history and character. It is like a little hidden gem that is away from all of the hustle and bustle of Old Town Alexandria. So anyhow, Ina and Cyrus are getting married later this month and I am so looking forward to their wedding. It seems like we booked so long ago and I am excited to see it all hapen. I love how they are so sweet to each other and so in love. This shoot makes me happy. Have a nice day!

Cara and Nick are so fun! They were up for anything I wanted to do. I told them we are going to go shoot buy this old school bus and then into this field with power lines. They said SURE!  I love when clients let me choose everything!!! So we had to sneak in this backyard to shoot the school bus and the whole time i just knew a big dog was going to come bite me int he rear but we really wanted to get these cool shots. Then in the field I wish there was a video of us because that field was a mess! My legs were bleeding from all the scrapes and we had the hardest time walking. BUT it was so worth it! I love these pictures. I can’t wait for their wedding in September. Happy Friday everyone!

Julia and DJ are getting married next month here in Virginia. I was so excited to finally meet them. They are home from college for the summer and their wedding is almost here! Julia’s mom lives on my street and goes to our church so I felt like I already knew her. We ran over to a field by my house and shot a few summer loving shots. I love the warm sun and the beautiful glow it gives. Despite the ticks we found on us after we got home this session was amazing and fun! Yes I said ticks…ewe!

While I was in Houston a few weeks ago I met up with Jamie and Sinclair to shoot their engagement session. They flew in from San Francisco to shoot on this HOT humid Houston day. They are getting married in October and I am very much looking forward to their wedding. These two are so natural in front of the camera it was really fun taking their pictures. Once again even though it was hot I am loving summer sessions!!!

Veronica, Daniel and I met up in Haymarket, VA on a really hot day! I loved shooting in Haymarket,VA because it was a new place for me. I love shooting in new places and once again I love it when couples let me style the whole shoot. So that being said look how cute these two are! I can’t wait for their wedding in Old Town Manassas in August!

Jee and Daniel wanted a fun shoot with a football, ice cream and Polaroid shots. I love making each shoot I do different and fun. Jee and Daniel are super cute and I love that they are into photography. It impresses me when my clients know as much about my cameras as I do. I love chatting all techie! And on a side note I can’t believe how much Polaroid film is now since they are not making it anymore. It was $20 for a pack! I so badly wish they would bring it back. There is something so magical about taking a picture and waving it around waiting for it to slowly appear. 

Here is Melissa and Steve. Melissa is a Kindergarten teacher so I thought it would be super fun to shoot at her school playground. We had so much fun playing with chalk, apples and just being silly. After that we headed over to Old Town Alexandria. It was supposed to rain but instead we had a beautiful over cast for most of the session. Melissa and Steve are so cute and I love it when couples have this much fun together. It makes taking pictures super fun! So here are my favorites! 

Meet Cheyanne and Brandt. They are getting married in Houston this December. They live here in Virginia and we shot their engagement session here. It was another Spring rainy day but we toughed through and I love the way the pictures turned out. Cheyanne is so sweet and they are so cute together. I love engagement sessions! Mary and Chris are so freaking fun to shoot! I love it when couple leave locations up to me! Mary said she trusted to me to what ever! Music to my ears! These hot summer time heat shots make me smile! They have so much love and chemistry together it is awesome! Mary and Chis live in NY and are getting married in DC this summer. I can’t wait for their wedding. 

Look how adorable Chelsea and Mike are! They are getting married in 9 days in St. Maarten! I can’t wait!!! I have been looking forward to their wedding for a long time now. Ok so back to how cute they are and these pictures. The balloons and candy ring pop is the work of Chelsea and of course I LOVED it! They are so cute because they have their own very long and super fun secret handshake. It makes me want a secret handshake! So FUN!!! They showed it to me in front of the music tree. Finding cool places to shoot in alleys make me happy! Have a great day everyone!
